Periodontal disease is an infection caused by bacteria that gets under the gum tissue and begins to destroy the gums and bone; it has also been linked with diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and premature, low-weight births.

Synazalt Mucolytic Sinus Irrigant
One in 100 healthy people unknowingly carry MRSA bacteria on their bodies. MRSA bacteria are almost always resistant to multiple antibiotics. Unfortunately, as the number of multi-drug resistant bacteria increase, fewer antibiotics are being brought to market to combat them. Hospital patients, nursing home residents and people with weakened immune systems are most at risk for MRSA.

Wound Irrigation Solution
Bacteria in wounds inhibit healing and can lead to serious complications including deep infection, chronic pain and sepsis. Synedgen’s Wound Irrigation Solution disrupts biofilms, promotes healing via bacterial and biofilm removal, and prevents infection.
Antibacterial Burn and Wound Treatment
Serious burns and wounds are complicated by lethal bacterial infections. Soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan are often infected with Acinetobacter baumannii, a soil-based bacterium that is beginning to generate serious complications in civilian hospitals. Resistant bacteria in wounds grow into biofilms that are very difficult to eradicate. Synedgen’s topical anti-infective to treat pathogenic infections in burns and traumatic wounds disrupts the biofilms and kills bacteria, but does not inhibit wound healing.
