Our corporate responsibility is predicated on anticipating and responding to the challenges of multi-drug resistant bacteria that affect military and civilian populations. As infections continue to rise, so does the ability of bacteria to resist the effects of the most potent antibiotics on the market today. Unfortunately, this makes treatment options increasingly limited.
An extended antimicrobial platform to propel our R&D pipeline has been developed, which is based on both prevention and treatment of infection in medicine, the environment, and agriculture. Committed to contributing to improved health and wellness, we are leveraging our proprietary technologies to provide highly effective therapies that enhance or replace current antibacterial treatments without generating new resistant bacteria.
The non-toxic, inherent antimicrobial properties of these novel derivatives reduces the need for and use of traditional antibiotics, minimizes the antibiotic exposure in the biosphere, and limits the emergence of antibiotic resistant bacteria.
